Esperanto-Rondo de Toronto > Club News
Everyone is welcome at our meetings. The club is growing with new people and beginners, and it seems to be entering a good time. We encourage members to make presentations in Esperanto on any topic.
Links and information about Esperanto, including interviews with Canadian Esperanto-speakers, can be found on our resource page.
Our weekly meetings
We meet every Monday. Usually, we meet on Mondays
between 6 PM and 8 PM, at Timothy's coffee-shop on the northeast corner of Bay
and College, west of the College subway station. Walk west along the north side
of College until you reach Bay. Look for the green five-pointed star, the symbol
of Esperanto, to find us. Afterwards, we'll eat at a local restaurant.
One Monday out of the month, we have our official club meeting at 77 Carlton (located on the south side of Carlton, east of Maple Leaf Gardens). This is a residential building; the security guard at the entrance will direct visitors to the meeting room.
Except during the summer, we also have a Saturday-afternoon get-together at the home of one of the club-members (Detlef), which houses the club library. For details, contact Scott, ert (at) sunspace.org.
La Torontano is the official newsletter of the club. It is available from the website of Ken Price.
